To benefit from using Alvie regression-based attribution model, you need to create an attribution model configuration where you can define all the required parameters.
To do this, follow these steps:
1. Go to the left-hand menu.
2. Navigate to Marketing Evaluation.
3. Select Attribution Models.
4. Click on the 'Create new model' button.
You can also refer to the video for a visual guide on how to start creating an attribution model configuration:
Follow the steps below to go through the attribution model creation flow:
The whole process includes several steps:
Step 1: Define a name and the type. At this step, you can choose a name for your attribution model configuration and select the type of attribution model you want to work with.
Step 2: Select your accounts. In this step, you can specify the Google Analytics account and other accounts that you want to use for attribution modelling.
Step 3: Set up datasets. At this stage, you can define the required Google Cloud Platform project and BigQuery dataset for storing the output data.
Step 4: Choose a channel grouping. Here, you can determine which channel grouping to use for attribution modelling.
Step 5: Configure additional settings. At this step, you can select a lookback window and define the currency for the BigQuery table.
Almost done! Activate the attribution model or save it as a draft to continue working on it later. Once the model is activated, the attributed data will start being collected immediately.
