At this step, you need to define datasets. This will determine where the modeling data should be stored when the Budget optimiser configuration is activated.

1. Define the Google Cloud Platform project

Select the Google Cloud Platform project where all output data related to this Budget optimiser configuration will be stored. This is a required field.

Simply choose the relevant project from the dropdown list:

Keep in mind that the GCP project needs to be connected to Alvie beforehand. You can learn more about how to connect a new data source to Alvie here.

2. Define the BigQuery dataset for the model

Specify the BigQuery dataset where the output data of the model will be stored.

If you have already created the dataset, simply enter its name. If this is a new dataset, provide a name in this field, and it will be automatically created within the identified GCP project. This is a required field.

3. Advanced settings

Advanced settings are optional. If you prefer to store the raw data from data sources separately from the Budget optimiser output data, you have the option to specify a different dataset for that purpose. If you choose not to provide a value in this field, the model BigQuery dataset will be used.
