Before delving into the analysis of budget allocation, it would be helpful to gain a general understanding of the Budget optimiser dashboard. To do so, there are several key considerations to keep in mind:
1. General Information about the Budget optimiser dashboard
At the top of the page, you will find:
The name of the Budget optimiser configuration.
The Budget Optimiser type, e.g., Alvie's regression based attribution, or GA4 attribution.
The date and time when this configuration was last updated.
Additionally, you may see a notification banner at the top of the page that provides additional information on either the current status of the Budget optimiser configuration or warnings indicating that something is not working as expected.
2. Status of the Budget optimiser configuration
The dashboard will display data based on the status of the respective Budget optimiser configuration.
For example, when a Budget optimiser configuration is paused, the dashboard will display historical data that was collected before the configuration was paused.
You can find the status of the Budget optimiser configuration at the top of the page:
There are four available statuses for the Budget optimiser configuration:

You can learn more about each status by clicking here.
3. General actions with Budget optimiser configuration
There are three general actions that can be performed with a Budget optimiser configuration from the dashboard. All of these actions can be accessed through the 'More' menu located on the right side of the page:
