Before delving into the analysis of budget allocation, it would be helpful to gain a general understanding of the Budget optimiser dashboard. To do so, there are several key considerations to keep in mind:

1. General Information about the Budget optimiser dashboard

At the top of the page, you will find:

  • The name of the Budget optimiser configuration.

  • The date and time when this configuration was last edited.

Additionally, you may see a notification banner at the top of the page that provides information about the current status of the Budget optimiser configuration. To learn more about the possible statuses, you can refer to the relevant documentation.

2. General actions with Budget optimiser configuration

There are two general actions that can be performed with a Budget optimiser configuration from the dashboard. Both of these actions can be accessed through the 'More' menu located on the right side of the page:

1. If you need to make corrections to the Budget optimiser configuration, simply select More → Edit this configuration. This action will take you to a page where you can make the necessary changes to the Budget optimiser configuration.

2. If you want to delve into more granular details of how the attribution model is currently running, choose More → View detailed status. This action will open a popup with a detailed visualization of the performance.

When a Budget optimiser configuration is paused, the popup mentioned earlier will not have any data to display and will appear empty.

3. You also have the option to create a new Budget optimiser configuration directly from this point by clicking on the 'Create new configuration' button.

3. Status of the Budget optimiser configuration

The dashboard will display data based on the status of the respective Budget optimiser configuration.

For example, when a Budget optimiser configuration is paused, the dashboard will display historical data that was collected before the configuration was paused.

You can find the status of the Budget optimiser configuration at the top of the page:

There are four available statuses for the Budget optimiser configuration:

  • Active

  • Running

  • Paused

  • Error

You can learn more about each status by clicking here.
