As we continuously enhance Alvie’s capabilities, we periodically update and improve our data connectors to ensure optimal performance and compatibility. Consequently, some of the connectors you are currently using may be scheduled for deprecation. However, there is no need to worry. Please read below to learn what to do if you are using a connector that is being deprecated.
1. How to Identify a Deprecated Connector
First, it is important to determine whether any of your connectors are scheduled for deprecation. On the configuration page of your specific connector, you will see a banner like the one below:
Additionally, the Deprecation Schedule section at the end of this page provides a list of connectors that are due to be deprecated, along with their respective deprecation dates.
2. How to Replace a Deprecated Connector
If you are using a connector that is scheduled for deprecation, you should start preparing for migration. Under each connector type in the Deprecation Schedule below, you will find guidance on the recommended next steps.
Common to all deprecated connectors is that they will be permanently removed on the deprecation date. This means you will need to manually configure a replacement connector if, for example, a new version is available.
3. Deprecation Schedule
Below is an overview of all the connectors scheduled for deprecation, as well as those that have previously been deprecated.
