What is happening?
This is a "cascade failure." A secondary service (like the Budget Optimiser or a custom report) failed to run because it relies on data from an Attribution Model that did not complete successfully.
Error: One or more Attribution models failed when we tried to run this Connector. If the Attribution model(s) look goods now, try again.
Why did this happen? Alvie services work in a specific sequence. If the "parent" Attribution Model fails, the "child" service stops immediately to prevent reporting inaccurate or empty results.
Upstream Failure: The Attribution Model itself encountered an error (e.g., Error 401: Source dataset not found) during its scheduled run.
Timing Issues: The dependent service attempted to start before the Attribution Model finished its recovery or rerun process.
Prerequisite Error: A connector feeding the model failed, leaving the model with no data to process.
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Open Detailed Status: Click the Detailed Status popup in your Alvie dashboard to see the full list of services.
Identify the "Parent" Error: Look for the Attribution Model(s) in the list. They will likely be marked with a red error icon.
Action: * If the Attribution Model is red: Click on it to see the specific error code (e.g., Error 06 or Error 111) and resolve that first.
If the Attribution Model is now green: If the model has since finished successfully but the dependent service is still red, the "failure" flag just needs to be cleared.
External Steps: Check the health of the GA4 or Ad Platform connectors that feed into the attribution model. If those are failing, the model cannot run.
Verify: Once all prerequisite Attribution Models show a Healthy (Green) status, click Run now on the dependent service. The error should clear.
Prevention & Tips To avoid seeing this error again:
Automated Retries: Alvie often attempts to rerun failed services automatically, but a manual "Run now" is the fastest way to verify a fix.
