When creating a ChatGPT Ads data source, Alvie connects to a specific ChatGPT Ads Manager account using an API key. Alvie retrieves advertising data through the OpenAI Ads API.
Connecting ChatGPT Ads data sources to Alvie
To create a ChatGPT Ads data source:
Go to ChatGPT Ads.
Navigate to Settings → General.
Scroll down to API Keys and click Create New Key.
Enter a descriptive name for your API key, click Create, and copy the key to your clipboard.
In Alvie, go to Data Sources → Connect New Data Source.
Select ChatGPT Ads from the list.
Paste your API key into the text field.
Click Connect Data Source.
ChatGPT Ads API keys are single use and can only be used to connect one Alvie Workspace. If you want to connect the same ChatGPT Ads account to another Workspace, you must create a new API key following the same process.
