To set up the Arima Plus forecasting report, follow these steps:
Go to the left-hand navigation menu.
Select Data & reporting → Reporting solutions
Click on the 'Create new report' button.

Step 1. Select the report
Select the report type: Arima Plus forecasting report.
Step 2. Select the data sources and choose custom groupings
Keep the following points in mind when setting up the Arima Plus forecasting report:
Data sources: Setting up Google Analytics data sources is a mandatory requirement for this type of report, while the rest of the data sources can be chosen flexibly.
Custom grouping: Custom grouping is important in the Arima Plus forecast report. The report is aggregated based on Date and Custom groupings, including market and channel grouping levels. This allows for accurate data integration from different platforms and relevant datasets. For instance, you can join Google Analytics data with Facebook Ads data to address specific cases.

1. Select the Google Analytics 4 accounts connected to Alvie, as explained here. You can choose multiple accounts.
2. To customize the channel grouping and market grouping, adjust the ready-made custom groupings according to your specific needs, as explained here.
When selecting Google Analytics accounts to be used for the Arima Plus forecast report, it is mandatory to set up custom grouping specifically for this data source.
Google Analytics UA

1. Select the Google Analytics UA accounts connected to Alvie, as explained here. You can choose multiple accounts.
It's important to note that Google will deprecate Google Analytics UA after July 1, 2024. Therefore, you can use this data source in reporting solutions if it is set up before this date.
2. To customize the channel grouping and market grouping, adjust the ready-made custom groupings according to your specific needs, as explained here.
When selecting Google Analytics UA accounts to be used for the Arima Plus forecast report, it is mandatory to set up custom grouping specifically for this data source.
Step 3. Define data target properties
In this step, you will find the basic settings, which require you to define the Google Cloud project and BigQuery output dataset. For detailed instructions on how to correctly fill in this data, please refer to the documentation provided here.
Additionally, this step includes advanced settings that are optional to use. Here, you have the ability to define the schedule for creating the Arima Plus forecasting report.
By default, the schedule is set to daily, but you can choose other options that are suitable for your needs:

Due to the deprecation of Google Analytics UA, migration to Google Analytics 4 is necessary. The transition from using UA to GA4 data is seamless, and Alvie just needs to know when you would like the transition to happen.

The different data sources may have different currencies. To simplify and clarify the output results for reports, we unify them into a single currency.
To set a currency, simply select the desired currency from the dropdown menu:

To choose a Holiday region, simply select the desired value from the dropdown menu:

The GA4 Event name parameter communicates to the model which parameter needs to be forecasted. Simply type in the name of the event or use the default suggested value.

If you have selected Google Ads as a data source for the report, you need to provide a value for this setting. The Google Ads conversion action name parameter communicates to the model which conversion action needs to be forecasted. Simply type in the required value or use the default suggestion.

If you have selected Microsoft Ads as a data source for the report, you need to provide a value for this setting. The Microsoft Ads name or conversion name parameter communicates to the model which conversion for Bing needs to be forecasted. Simply type in the required value or use the default suggestion.

Step 5. Activate the report
If you have finished configuring the settings, you can activate the report. However, if you still need to make adjustments to the settings, you can choose to save without activating.
