However, while you can create as many workspaces as you want, we recommend creating a new workspace only when you need to clearly separate the data and control access to it.
For example, if you are a large multinational company with teams in different countries, it would make sense for Team A to have access to data related to Sweden, while Team B only has access to data related to Denmark. This can be achieved by creating separate workspaces for each team.
You have the flexibility to perform various actions within a workspace.
Change the settings for your workspace
If you have sufficient permissions, you can modify the settings for a workspace.
To change the settings for your workspace, follow these steps:
Click on the workspace name in the top right corner.
In the flyout window that opens, click on 'Edit workspace profile'.
From here, you can make changes to the workspace name, workspace website address, or preferred currency.
Please note that the preferred currency for a workspace will impact all existing and future reporting, dashboards, and graphs within Alvie. The results will be displayed in the preferred currency.
Delete your workspace
If you have sufficient permissions, you can delete a workspace.
To delete a workspace, follow these steps:
Click on the workspace name in the top right corner.
In the flyout window that opens, click on 'Edit workspace profile'.
Click on the 'Delete workspace' button and follow the subsequent process.
We strongly advise you to carefully consider the decision to delete a workspace. Deleting a workspace will result in the removal of all configured data sources and flows. Please note that this action is irreversible.
