This error occurs when the Google Sheets connector cannot locate the specified spreadsheet, resulting in the following error:

Error: We could not find the spreadsheet. Please ensure that your spreadsheet is set up correctly.

How to resolve this error

This error typically happens due to incorrect spreadsheet identification or the spreadsheet being deleted. Here's how to fix it:

1. Check your Spreadsheet ID or URL

When setting up your Google Sheets data source, ensure you enter the correct spreadsheet identifier.

You can use either:

• Just the ID: `1234AbCd`

Important: Remove any additional parameters like `/edit?gid=0#gid=0` from the URL.

2. Handling specific sheet tabs**

If you're copying the URL from a specific sheet tab (like Sheet2), make sure to remove the sheet reference from the URL.

The specific sheet selection will be available in the connector settings later.

3. If the spreadsheet was deleted or modified**

• If you accidentally deleted a sheet, you can restore it using Google Sheets version history

• If you deleted and recreated a sheet with the same name, you'll need to set up a new connector

• If the entire spreadsheet was deleted, you'll need to create a new data source with your newly created spreadsheet
