Alvie’s Recommendations include built-in workflow management, making it easy for teams to collaborate on insights and ensure that nothing slips through the cracks.

You can assign team members to a recommendation, update its status, and use ignore rules to temporarily or permanently remove it from your active list - all directly in the interface.

Assigning a recommendation

Each recommendation can be assigned to a specific person in your workspace.

To do so:

  1. Hover over the assignee icon on a recommendation row or inside the detail popup.

  2. Click “Unassigned. Click to edit”

  3. Search for or select a team member from the list.

  4. The assignee will be saved and shown across the workspace.

💡 This is helpful for dividing responsibilities, tracking ownership, or collaborating across teams.

Updating status

Each recommendation has a status to reflect how it’s being handled. You can update this:

  • Directly on the card, by clicking the status icon

  • Inside the popup window of the recommendation

Available statuses:

  • Unresolved: Default state, no action has been taken yet.

  • Ongoing: Someone is actively looking into it.

  • Ignored: Temporarily or permanently hidden from the active list.

Using the "Ignored" status

Choosing Ignored opens additional options to control visibility:

  • Ignore for today

  • Ignore for 7, 14, or 30 days

  • Ignore until I change it

This is useful when:

  • A recommendation isn’t relevant right now (e.g. a paused campaign, ongoing sale period)

  • You’ve seen it before and don’t want it flagged again unless you choose to change the setting manually

Once a recommendation is ignored, it will disappear from the active list for the selected time period and reappear only when it becomes relevant again - or you manually update its status.
