This target enables the direct sending of Bidding signals output to Meta Ads.

Working with this type of target requires specific settings when sending events. Please follow the guide here for Facebook: Conversion API.

Ensure that you properly adjust Facebook Ads to receive transformed information from Bidding signals. You can learn more about the required settings here.

1. How to set up this target

When you reach Step 2, simply select 'Meta Ads - CAPI' as the target to send the events to:

2. How to choose an Event name

Both standard event names, such as ‘purchase’, and custom event names of your choice are supported. The maximum length is 50 characters.

You can read more about Meta standard and custom events here.

3. How to set up a Pixel ID

This is the Pixel ID of the Meta pixel you want to send the events to. It typically consists of 15-16 digits.

For example: 123456789012345.

You can find your Pixel ID in the Meta events manager settings.

You can learn more about pixel IDs here.

4. How to set up a Token

This is the access token for the conversion API.

To use the conversion API, you need to generate an access token. The token is passed as a parameter in each event. You can generate the access token in the Meta events manager under the pixel settings.

You can learn more on how to generate and retrieve the access token in the documentation here. Ensure you have the necessary permissions to create tokens!
