This target enables the receiving of transformed event data, which can then be sent onwards to other platforms, such as ad platforms, customer relationship management systems, and analytics platforms.

Working with this type of target requires specific settings when sending events. Please follow the guide here for Google Tag Manager: Server-side target.

Ensure that you properly adjust a target to receive transformed information from Enhanced signals. You can learn more about the required settings here.

1. How to set up this target

When you reach Step 2, simply select 'Google Tag Manager' as the target to send the events to.

2. How to set up a Server-side GTM property ID

This is the property ID of the server-side Google Tag Manager property to which you want to send the events.

For example: GTM-123456.

To find this:

  1. Go to the Google Tag Manager console.

  2. Locate the Admin section of the sGTM container.

  3. The property ID should be visible in the container information.

3. How to set up a Server-side GTM URL

This is the URL of the server-side Google Tag Manager container to which you want to send the events.

To find this:

  1. Go to the Google Tag Manager console.

  2. Locate the Admin section of the sGTM container.

  3. Navigate to: Admin → Container settings.

4. How to set up a Server-side GTM Token

This is the token for the server-side Google Tag Manager container to which you want to send the events. This token is used to authenticate when sending events to the sGTM container.

For example: AB1ABC2ABCDEFgHi3AB11aB.
