How to select a transformation

A core part of Enhanced signals, and probably the main reason you would care about it, is an ability to apply different transformations to original conversions/events before passing them on to different platforms.

The word 'transformation' simply means that Alvie makes some changes to the event itself.

For example, if you choose the Profit transformation, we will subtract the cost from the event before passing it on.

There are three different types of transformation that are currently supported in Alvie:

Each transformation has its own specifics for usage and setup. We encourage you to use the links above to get a deep dive into each specific transformation.

Multiple transformations

You can have more than one transformation active at the same time in the same Enhanced signals configuration.

For example, if you want to first run a percentage discount transformation to subtract VAT before passing it to the Profit transformation to subtract cost, you can chain them.

In the case of multiple transformations, the order you set up in the Enhanced signals configuration matters. The calculations are done in that order, and different sequences might lead to differing results.
