Enhanced signals is a feature offered by Alvie that allows users to enrich and adjust website or app conversion events before sending them to downstream ad platforms.

This empowers users to better control the signals used for bidding and ad placement.

Key aspects of Enhanced signals include:

  1. Event transformation: It receives conversion events and applies a set of pre-defined, user-configured transformations. This means you can modify and enrich the data before it is sent to the target platforms.

  2. Target platforms: The transformed events can be sent to a set of pre-defined targets such as Google Analytics 4, server-side Google Tag Manager, Google Ads and Facebook Ads.

  3. Data minimisation: Enhanced signals helps track website activity while minimising the amount of personal data sent to target platforms. This is achieved by not setting cookies and sending minimal personal data.

Enhanced signals is designed to provide more control and accuracy in tracking and utilising website conversion data, ultimately improving the effectiveness of ad campaigns.

To start using the Enhanced signals feature, you need to follow several steps:

  1. Select the required transformation that should occur with your data.

  2. Select the required targets where the transformed data should be sent.

  3. Activate the configuration and benefit from improved ad campaign effectiveness.

  4. Ensure you send events in the proper format and manner to Enhanced signals.

  5. Test the event sending to confirm that everything is set up correctly.

  6. Validate the output to ensure the results are as expected.

  7. Fine-tune the required targets to properly receive information from Enhanced signals.
